INTRODUCTION
We would like to introduce
you to the home of one of the most prestigious, typical
Tuscan wines: Chianti. Rufina and a high quality extra
virgin olive oil: Laudemio. We will show you our grapevines,
olive groves, cellars and vineyards; called: Travignoli,
a place which daily renews the happy union between Tradition
and Search for Quality.
GEOGRAPHY
In the heart of the central
Tuscan hills - only 25 km. from Florence - is a place
where mother nature and man have worked together over
the centuries in the search for absolute pureness: Rufina,
considered by many to be the best Chianti wine-growing
area. It has always been famous for the exceptional quality
of its wines and its olive oils, the entire Rufina Chainti
area has earned the prestigious D.O.C.G. classification
that few other wines can boast.
