TRAVIGNOLI
- History
The
Etruscans who brought Tuscany out of prehistoric times
lived here, and started a long period of a splendid civilisation.
They cultivated these particularly fortunate lands, as
evidenced by the stele found on the vineyard property.
TRAVIGNOLI started its life as a vineyard as early as
1100; in the 1700s it was purchased by the Count Busi
family, who have continued to run it for generations,
up to the present day: combining a long tradition of history
and wine-growing culture with modern agricultural and
production techniques.
